I needed a new (yet inexpensive) costume project for a rainy Sunday so I decided to bring back one of my beloved characters that I've portrayed for a long time now, Cammy White from Street Fighter. I decided to start with the gloves, since it would be the most challenging part and the most fun for me.

Materials are sticky back foamies (that you can buy at any craft store like Michaels or even Walmart), red vinyl fabric (from my old Dawn costume that was ruined beyond repair) and paint and hot glue.

Still very much a work in progress but I'm happy with it so far and it's far better than the gloves on my previous Cammy costume. On to the left one! So excited to be Cammy again soon!

Looks excellent! Btw, looking at the stock photo from the game, if you see cammy's glove from the "correct" angle, it looks like a fire hydrant. hee hee!

Those large rings seem a bit out of proportion, but still the best attempt I've ever seen. Good work!

Great effort. What are the sticky back foamies normally used for (as in, what section of a craft store would I expect to find it in?). Been wanting to make some armor for a now-retired suit but just out of curiousity of if I can improve the old way I did it.

PS: If I might ask, which Dawn costume are you referring to which was ruined?
